Welcome to the club! What an amazing lifelong friend you are. My earliest childhood memories include you...yes, we were the two girls in our Primary Moonbeam class with the "kinky bump" hair from pink sponge rollers (our moms never could get that right). Through years of endless sleepovers (X marks the spot and your cool circle egg cooker), stealing cars and trucks, spilling cocoa, cruising, Early Mornings (tweet, da da da), dead heftybag Niki, painting the Matron Mobile, endless European adventures (trying to look up the Queens Guard kilts, and being awestruck by the "David" (yes you were), watching our buddies Mark, and Mark tap dance on the Acropolis, to name a few).
...And now, here we are in our "mid-years" (can you believe it!), still sharing the ups and downs of life. Shell-Bell, you have always been there for me, through tragedy and joy. What a true and "Golden "friend you are. Your kindness, humor, inner and outer beauty, have always been a shining example. Life is more fun and easy when Shelly is there. Happy Birthday to one of the most amazing women I know.
